TET was founded on the idea of bringing cutting edge technology (thus the sword in the logo) and premium customer service to the marketplace. We know that a successful production requires both to be on point.
TET was founded by Richard Miller(originally Seminars Simplified) in 2010 after working in the seminar business since 1997. Having done almost 1000 successful seminars around the world, Richard knew it was time to take his methods, mindsets, and expertise to the marketplace on a larger scale.
In 2017, TET expanded its operations by partnering up with the founders of Top Notch Productions (Ryan Peterson and Brian Trujillo) which provides event staffing of high-quality technicians and full event logistics and management.

Founder, Director of Marketing and Scenic Design
In 2007, Miller went on his own, producing events and creating information products for one of the largest online distributors of dating and relationship advice, Hot Topic Media and New You Advice.
In 2010, he founded Seminars Simplified, which quickly became one of the nation’s most sought-after seminar production companies. Luminaries from a variety of industries- ranging from TV celebrities, to heads of non-profit organizations, to some of the world’s most influential direct-marketing authorities- have relied on Miller’s unparalleled expertise to create captivating experiences for their attendees.
In addition to his prowess as a world-class producer, Richard Miller’s deep understanding of consumer psychology positions him uniquely to help his clients craft their most compelling sales narratives. As an avid student of human behavior and psychology, Miller has studied the MBTI personality system for over 20 years, in addition to Ericksonian Therapy, NLP, personal development, and the principles of influence and persuasion. In fact, many of Miller’s clients consult with him on aspects of the show that go far beyond audio and video.
Miller is responsible for the design of the scenic elements of the show. Whether he does it through a custom fabricated set piece or an elaborate LED wall, Miller immaculately captures each client’s vision and brings it to life.

Some of the largest AV companies in the US have sought out Peterson’s expertise as a project manager. His relentless attention to detail, and ability to navigate complex logistics gracefully make him an essential part of the TET team. Peterson is also a world-class technician. He combines expert skills in audio, lighting, projection, and video, with a natural intuition for their usage in production, making him a tremendous asset to an industry that desperately needs these skills.

Camera Director/Logistics Manager
Tyler Burden has been in video, film and production since he was old enough to coil cables. As our Camera director and Logistics manager he makes sure that the quality of the video product we produce is top notch and as the logistics manager he makes sure that we have the necessary equipment for the production at all times. Because Tyler comes from a photography and film background, his attention to detail rivals professionals 20 years his senior. He’s one of our “secret weapons”.
Event Planning Manager
Ashley Sorensen has been an event planner for 15 years coordinating a variety of events. These include 2,000 person conferences and seminars to 10 person high-end retreats and masterminds and everything in between.
She takes an “experiential marketing” approach to event planning to ensure that all goals of the event are achieved and event attendees leave with a lasting impression.
When Ashley works with a client she becomes part of their team taking on a personal feel while working together.
Phoenix Convention Center
We specialize in producing large events at venues like the Phoenix Convention Center. While there are many AV companies in Arizona, very few of them have the skills and resources necessary to produce a successful large-scale event at the Convention Center.
We are owner-operators- not just “suits” who manage remotely and never show up on site. We have had the privilege of working at the Phoenix Convention Center in various capacities for over 10 years- many years before we even formed TET. Thus, we have the experience necessary to make your event at the Phoenix Convention Center a world-class event, from start to finish.
